The Marmara region surrounds the Sea of Marmara and includes Istanbul, Edirne, Bursa, and Çanakkale. It is Turkey's most industrialised region. Agricultural GI products span cheeses from Ezine, cherries from Lüleburgaz, and sunflower oil from Thrace.
